LIFTER BORE BRACE

LIFTER BORE BRACE

WE ARE NOW SELLING THESE FOR $45.00. THE MOST POWERFUL AND RADICAL PONTIAC ENGINES IN THE WORLD HAVE USED THIS BRACE WITH A 100% SUCCESS RATE. Used by professionals like; John Angeles. Jim Trettel, Jess Tyree, D-Mac, Bruce, and many, many others. FACTS, NOT OPINIONS. USE THIS PICTURE WHEN MODIFYING OUR BRACE

Bores affected are #2 and #6 intakes only. After roughing the radius of your lifter bore into the wing, it becomes a careful bit of finish work so when you final tighten the brace, it doesn't pull out of place. I'll explain. We put a .050 washer under the brace as we're hand dressing the radius to the bore. Always lightly snug the brace down when checking the radius you're making.

Now then. You're getting close to a good fit on the two radius. Sometimes you may only achieve one or two spots that touch well against the lifter bore casting. That's ok. It doesn't take much to keep the bore from breaking. When you like what you see, take out the two .050 washers and snug everything down. The thickness of the two washers is all of the pre-load the bore needs. You obviously do not want to distort the lifter bore. It has the closest tolerance of anything in the engine.
